No. It shows whether your signs look like those of people with lipedema. Only an assessment by a professional, with a physical exam, confirms or rules out the diagnosis.
Do I need to sign up or leave my contact details?
No. The questionnaire does not ask for your name, email or phone. If you want, you can allow your answers to be stored, with nothing that identifies you, for lipedema research.
Where do the questions come from?
The questions about signs come from the lipedema screening questionnaire by Amato and colleagues, published in the Jornal Vascular Brasileiro in 2020. The questions about daily life and the warning signs are LISFERA's.
Who is the questionnaire for?
For adult women who suspect lipedema, because the questions about signs were studied in this group. Other people can answer, and the result works as general guidance.
